Impact Isn't Always Measured by the Size of the Room - Code Orbit India
By Code Orbit
At Code Orbit, we believe innovation begins with access. While technology continues to transform the world, millions of students still have limited opportunities to explore the fields shaping the future. Through our outreach initiatives, we aim to bridge that gap by bringing STEM education and digital literacy to underserved communities worldwide.
Recently, Code Orbit conducted a Computer Science and Responsible AI Awareness Session for underprivileged Grade 7 students at a community center in Madanpur Khader, Sarita Vihar, South East Delhi, India. The session was led by our India Program Lead, Ana Waqar, who introduced students to the fundamentals of computer science, emerging technologies, and the importance of using artificial intelligence responsibly and ethically.
Despite limited resources and a modest learning environment, students participated enthusiastically, asked thoughtful questions, and showed genuine curiosity about how technology impacts their lives. For many, it was a rare opportunity to engage with concepts that are often inaccessible due to educational and economic barriers.
What stood out most was the students' eagerness to learn. Their enthusiasm reinforced an important truth: talent and potential exist everywhere. What is often missing is access to opportunities, mentorship, and quality educational resources.
By introducing young learners to computer science and responsible AI, Code Orbit hopes to inspire the next generation of innovators, problem-solvers, and leaders who can use technology to create positive change in their communities.

The image captures more than a lesson—it reflects the purpose of this initiative: creating a space where students feel encouraged to ask questions, explore new ideas, and imagine possibilities beyond their current circumstances.
While the group was small, the impact was meaningful. Every question asked, every concept understood, and every spark of curiosity ignited represents a step toward a future where quality STEM education is accessible to all.
Code Orbit remains committed to expanding educational opportunities for underserved students through outreach, mentorship, and accessible learning programs.
One community. One classroom. A few curious minds. Endless possibilities.
